Dr. Housik sincerely cares. She is very sympathetic, helpful and available.
Also, NILA’s phone answering system has greatly improved so it’s much easier to get through to people and departments at the Institute.

This was by far the worst medical experience I have ever had at a practice. I have multiple sclerosis and spent practically a year trying to prove that to the people at this practice, and I never even saw or spoke to my actual referred doctor, Jonathan Eskenazi desptie requesting to be seen by him. I was in constant contact with my Neurologist Clinic in the state I moved to Los Angeles from and they could not get through to anyone at the practice in order to send my records, labs and images. I also could never get through to speak to someone that wasn't on an outsourced call line with little knowledge of my condition and little understanding of English. After missing two very important infusions while battling to get imaging and appointments scheduled I had an in-personn appointment where I brought all of my paperwork from my previous state only to be told I needed a direct note from my Nuerologist, who had sent it to them countless times and to multiple different fax numbers and emails. I started crying in the office because I was so defeated and, upon moving back to my previous clinic, have discovered I got three new lesions on my brain during the time I was trying to get an infusion scheduled. A very rude woman came in and gave me an email to send everything to and I thought everything would be okay. Two more frustrating months went by and I heard nothing about my infusion. Turns out, they had put the last number of my phone number down wrong in their system, so someone had been trying to call me to get it scheduled for "months". The math didn't add up on that and I'm pretty sure they were trying to cover up for themselves to avoid medical malpractice as I told them my MS had worsened due to missing two infusions and was going to get a lawyer involved if they did not take my infusion seriously. The people here DO NOT care about you as a human with a neurological disease. The facilities are dirty, the people are rude and rush everything. You are just a number to them. Please try to go somewhere else if insurance allows you to avoid having your condition worsen.

No results of my EMG tests taken on 12/17/2025.
Had an appointment on 1/7/2025 to discuss results with Doctor. Woman who represented herself as a doctor said that results were not in. Question if the woman is a doctor or not. Please send results to me and my primary doctor ASAP

It was a pleasure to meet with Mr. W. He was very professional and promptly addressed my questions immediately following the testing. He provided me with my results, which I was able to forward to my doctor. The front desk staff also provided me with copies. I will be delivering the results to my doctor tomorrow. I am very pleased with the testing process.
